My name is Dave Elwyn I am a professional musician/singer/songwriter/producer, currently based in North Wales. I am the lead singer and guitarist for The Dave Elwyn Band, a three piece power trio that combines various genres of music and songwriting with doubtless musical ability and energetic “off the cuff” live performances to create a “no frills” “here to make music” Rock & Roll band

    For over a decade I have been writing songs, playing gigs and recording music, and have a huge backlog of material in varied styles and I am adding to it all the time. The band and I have performed at many different pubs, venues, festivals, and private functions etc, over the years and have gained priceless experience on the gigging circuit. Also I have gathered a good knowledge and understanding of sound recording and producing, recording many of my songs in single and EP format and have recently gone on to produce and release my debut album Raw Blues. Two songs off this album (‘Short Fuse Blues’ and ‘Steam Jar’) have had some airplay on BBC Radio Wales on Adam Walton’s show. I have also performed live and in session for other recording artists, such as Billy Thompson/Amledd, Owain Llyr’s DailGwair and Nia Roberts.

    With the completion of my debut album Raw Blues I am now faced with the task of promoting it and getting it out there to you, the people. My album is available to download and on CD which is stocked in a few North Wales Shops, Cobb in Bangor, Awen Meirion in Bala and Moonlight in Wrexham. Or you can order your copy from this site.
